A regula - an ordered way of life that shapes a man over time. Weekly disciplines drawn from two thousand years of unbroken Christian formation, training mind, body, and spirit so ordinary men become more like Christ as husbands, fathers, and sons.

What It Is:

3V Rule is the practical expression of the Way, the Truth, and the Life applied to a man’s ordinary week. It is not a list of prohibitions. It is a pattern of life deliberately chosen and repeatedly practiced.
It draws on the monastic, chivalric, and classical tradition of rules that form men through steady disciplines of prayer, work, study, and mutual accountability. The Rule of Threes supplies the architecture: Mind, Body, and Spirit; Know, Grow, and Go; Husband, Father, and Son.
Brotherhood helps keep the rule. Weekly disciplines make it concrete. The honor system makes it honest.

Integrity

3V Rule is an integrity-based system of iterative spiritual, mental, and physical conditioning. Cheating yourself is the only form of cheating available here, and it is the most costly.

Pilot Week 1 Regula - The Lord's Prayer

Christ did not leave His men to invent their own spirituality. When they asked Him to teach them to pray, He gave them words. Those words have ordered the hours of desert monks, the vigils of knights, and the hearths of ordinary fathers for two thousand years. The Lord’s Prayer is not an advanced elective. It is the pattern Jesus Himself lived.Novice: Memorize the Lord’s Prayer word-perfect and recite it aloud from memory once each day for seven days. No notes.Professed: Recite the Lord’s Prayer from memory three times daily (morning, midday, evening) and, at the end of each day, write one sentence naming where the prayer most challenged or shaped you.Elder: Lead the Lord’s Prayer from memory with your household or a brother at least once this week, and spend one extended period in prayer using each petition as a guide for intercession.Completion: Any one level completes the regula for the week. Progress from low to high; you may not claim a higher rank without having done the work of the levels beneath it. Record your completion on the honor system.
